Multi-discipline engineers, Forth Consulting launched in 2015 after a board member re-shuffle.
With the new owners in place, they needed a new brand that maintained their integrity but injected a modern outlook and personality to match the new team.
A celebration of their Scottish heritage, mixed with a geeky obsession with bridges, their name was inspired by the Forth Rail Bridge. Built in 1890, it was the longest single cantilever bridge span in the world and remains an engineering benchmark and icon of Scotland.
The steel truss on the bridge formed the basis of a custom typeface for Forth. Representing modern advancements in engineering we gave the skeletal structure an asymmetric twist and hid a little forward arrow in the 'O' symbolising the future forward approach of the company.
